“My husband and I are obsessed with our new windows from The Window Source!! They were delivered in a very short time frame and only took a day to install. Great install crew, very clean, efficient, and paid attention to detail when sealing everything off.”
League City Window Replacement
The Window Source of Houston provides window replacement in League City, which sits about fifty-two miles southeast of our shop in Tomball.
As windows age, trouble can start around the window as well as in it. Along the Gulf Coast, that often means water working past dried-out sealant into the wall below.

Where League City windows let water in
Wind-driven rain gets pushed into the joint where a window frame meets the wall. Once the exterior sealant there has dried and cracked, the flashing behind it is all that keeps water out of the framing. When that goes too, water runs into the sill and the wall below and can sit there a long time before a stain shows inside.
Humidity does its own damage. Gulf air carries a lot of moisture, and once the seal between two panes opens, it gets into the gap and fogs the glass from inside. If yours have aluminum frames, they pass heat and cold straight through. On a cool morning they sweat on the inside and drip onto the sill.

How to spot a failing window or opening
Close to half of League City’s housing went up in the 1990s and 2000s, according to the Census Bureau’s 2020–2024 estimates, so a lot of the original windows in town are now 17 to 36 years old.
Start below the sill. A brown stain on the drywall, paint bubbling on the trim, or wood that gives when you press it means water has been getting in around the frame. On the window itself, look for a haze between the panes that won’t wipe off, frames that sweat in cool weather, or a slider you have to lift to move. Any of those means the units have worn out.
At the free in-home consultation we inspect the openings around your windows as well as the windows themselves, and walk you through how the new ones would be sealed. Our consultants measure, show you samples and answer your questions, and you decide on your own time.
How we replace windows in League City
Each old window comes out with its frame, and the new one is built to the measurements of your opening. Before it goes in, the opening gets our Leak Shield system. That means a flashing membrane over the rough opening, butyl tape at the seams and flanges, low-expansion foam in the gap, and a final exterior seal. The Window Source of Houston includes it at no extra cost and backs every installation with a lifetime guarantee that transfers to the next owner if you sell.
Nearly all of League City’s homes are in Galveston County, and the whole county falls within the area the Texas Department of Insurance designates for its windstorm program. If you carry wind and hail coverage through the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association, new windows and entry doors are improvements TWIA says have to be certified. TDI advises asking your contractor how they’ll meet the inspection requirement before work starts, and that’s a fair question to put to us at the estimate.
Window repair, cut glass, and commercial or storefront jobs aren’t work we take on. The crews that come to your house do residential window and door replacement.

What Houston homeowners say
“I got several quotes, and Jairo was the only one who brought samples and took the time to give us a demonstration. The office stayed in communication with me every step of the way… Edwin’s installation team worked quickly and professionally.”
“Replacing my parents’ original builder-grade windows in their 25+ year old home was one of the best investments they’ve made… They’ve already noticed lower electric bills, less outside noise, and a cooler, more comfortable home that’s much easier to keep at a consistent temperature.”
